Shakira’s most recent album, El Dorado, is her 11th one and came out three years after her self-titled album in 2014. The album launch party, hosted at The Temple House, saw Shakira rocking crimped waves with a chic topknot and stunning makeup, beaming for the cameras. Later, the ex-The Voice judge swapped into a more laid-back outfit to belt out tunes from her exciting new album.

This album, which is Shakira’s 11th studio release, was a project she started working on in early 2016. She made a successful comeback with the hit single “Chantaje” featuring Maluma, released in October of the previous year. Following the positive reception of that collaboration, she released another single titled “Me Enamoré.” This new album marks a return for Shakira after a three-year break since her last self-titled album in 2014.

After sharing six years and two children with Piqué, Shakira dedicated some songs on her new album to their love story. In an interview with Telemundo, she revealed that there are personal tracks inspired by their relationship, including ‘Me Enamoré,’ which tells the story of how they met and fell in love despite the odds. Their journey has brought them to where they are today as a beautiful family, showcasing a love story that deserves to be celebrated.
